The ALTEXAustralia
is the benchmark index for Alternate Energy in Australia.
Launched on the 22nd of October 2006, it has grown to
include 90 ASX-listed securities with a combined market capitalisation in
excess of $47.4 billion AUD. The Index Family is tracked by five
sector indices of Low Emission Utilities, Renewables, Gas,
Energy Minerals and Environmental Technologies.
The performance of these five sectors are tracked together in
