The Climate Impact Indices are the benchmark indices for climate
change in Australia. The Indices measure the financial
performance and market sentiment of companies which have
business operations directly impacted by climate change. For a
company to be included,
the
underlying value of a company’s principle products and services,
must be reduced or enhanced directly by long term changes in the
climate.
Launched on the
1st of October 2007, the Climate Impact Indices track 86 ASX
and NSX-listed securities with a combined market
capitalisation in excess of $10.3 billion AUD. For more
information, please download a copy of the
Climate Impact Indices - An Overview
booklet.
