Indexed Stocks
and Weighting
The
ALTEX Family of Indices universes comprises ASX-listed and globally-listed stocks for companies involved in the
exploration, production, distribution and generation of energy from sources
other than fossil fuels and transitional fossil fuel companies engaged in a
shift towards alternate energy and/or natural gas, selected based on their participation
in the alternate energy sector.
Index Composition
The
Investment Committee (IC) of Bakers
Investment Group
is responsible for selecting the stocks which comprise the universe of
stocks available for investment by the fund manager. The IC is responsible for
the addition or deletion of stocks to the alternate energy stocks universe based
on the guideline as to
what defines alternate energy. All stocks in the index, and those ASX-listed or
globally-listed stocks, as the case may be, which
might match the guideline, are
reviewed on a quarterly basis by the Investment Committee,
which then decides on inclusions and exclusions for the ensuing quarter.
